Three separate landscape compositions on a large sheet which appears to have been folded down the centre, along the border common to all the designs. The largest is apparently a view of Hardraw Force. The finished watercolour of 'Hardraw Fall', made for The History of Richmondshire in about 1817, is now at the Fitzwilliam Museum (PD227-1961). The motif of the outlined mansion or castle on the skyline recurs in a rough watercolour study, T.B. CCLXIII-380. An image generated by an AI Machine Learning Model Property of the artist. | ||
