The book contains a series of sky studies in watercolour, and some pencil sketches: f.69v, an interior which may be at Farnley; ff.67v-68v, a view of London from Lambeth (not from Greenwich as suggested by Finberg, 1909 I, p.453); studies at Eton on 4 June and at Windsor. Turner was at Eton for the Fourth of June 1818: see Finberg 1961, pp. 252-3.
