The drawings in this book, showing scenes on the Rhine from Bingen down to Cologne, contrast strongly with the masses of tiny sketches in the little 'Waterloo and Rhine' book used on the same journey (No.200); they are much larger in scale, making full use of the large leaf size and frequently occupying a double page.
