Engraved by J. Pye for Rogers' Italy, 1830, p.207 (Rawlinson No.369), as headpiece to the section entitled 'Paestum'. A preliminary sketch of the subject is T.B.CCLXXX-92. Turner's drawing contains only one somewhat faint flash of lightning; the engraved vignette shows three against a black cloud. Compare this design with the Little Liber drawing and mezzotint (Nos.252 and 253).
