The composition at the top right of f.2v seems to be related to the 'Southern Landscape with an Aqueduct and Waterfall' in the Turner Bequest (Tate Gallery 5506); that immediately below it is perhaps a development of the motif sketched on the opposite page (bottom drawing); and the composition bottom left is apparently a view of Orvieto, connected with the painting of 1828 (No.472).
