Bij de stadsbibliotheek deed ik mijn Chinese regenjas uit en ging op het voetpad liggen. Tevoren had ik een lange rol A3 prints rond mijn bovenlichaam gerold, als een bomgordel. De rol was 50m lang, precies even lang als het gebouw. Ik rolde langzaam over het voetpad naast het gebouw. Aan de ene kant van de rol zag je covers van diverse uitgaves van het boek 'Fahrenheit 451' van Ray Bradbury. Aan de andere kant, naarmate ik verder rolde, zag je afbeeldingen van iconische werken uit de kunstgeschiedenis.

At the city library, I took off my Chinese raincoat and lay down on the pavement. Beforehand, I’d wrapped a long roll of A3 prints around my upper body, like a bomb belt. The roll was 50 metres long, exactly the same length as the building. I slowly rolled over the pavement along the building. On one side of the roll, you could see covers of various editions of Ray Bradbury’s book ‘Fahrenheit 451’. On the other side, as I unrolled it further, you could see images of iconic works from art history.
