Het concept van ‘VictimDesign’ was een tentoonstelling van kunstenaars zonder selectie of inmenging over waar de deelnemende kunstenaars hun werk konden hangen of zetten. Op de opening verscheen ik met een machine met daaraan een zaag bevestigd. Ik plaatste de machine op iemand’s houten installatie en stak de stekker in. Langzaam zaagde ze zich doorheen diens werk.

The concept of ‘VictimDesign’ was an artist-organised exhibition with no selection or interference about where contributing artists could hang or place their work. At the opening night I showed up with a machine that had a saw attached to it. I placed it on top of someone’s wooden installation and plugged it in. It slowly sawed through that person’s work.
