A 3D remake of my performance 'The Performance Jan Hoet Never Saw' in Stedelijk Museum van Actuele Kunst, Gent, Belgium on 9 November 1996.

The sculpture was left behind anonymously in the Middelheim Open Air Museum for Sculpture on 19 September 2024 in the 'Come Closer' exhibition where "the space between sculpture and performance art is explored".

Visitors were challenged to find the sculpture and take it home.

'The Performance Jan Hoet Never Saw' was probably found by persons unknown on or around Tuesday 24 September 2024, four days after sending out a mailing to 1108 recipients. The location was 51°10'47.3"N 4°24'47.6"E. A nearby sculpture is 'Moïra, en Feuille Morte' by Roel D'Haese.
