The book contains drawings relating to Cooke's Southern Coast and to the commission for views of Sussex by 'John' Fuller of Rosehill. ff. and 2 and 35v to 41 have sketches made near Farley. ff.3-6 have studies for a classical composition with many figures. ‘Hythe' was used as the basis for the design for Cooke's Southern Coast (No.171).
