Engraved by R. Brandard, 1828, for Picturesque Views in England and Wales, Part v, No. 3 (Rawlinson No.227). A watercolour of Lancaster Sands using similar elements, but more dramatic in atmosphere, was made in about 1818 and bought by Walter Fawkes (see No. 179).
