Engraved by S. Fisher, 1838, for Picturesque Views in England and Wales, Part XXIV, No.4 (Rawlinson No. 304). Turner made several studies of St. Michaels' Mount in his 'Ivy Bridge to Penzance' sketchbook of 1811 (T.B.CXXV, ff.3I-46); these were used for the Southern Coast subject engraved in 1814 (Rawlinson No.88), and may have been referred to again for this, one of the latest of the England and Wales designs.
