In een kleine ruimte legde ik een grote print met afwisselend covers van diverse uitgaves van het boek 'Fahrenheit 451' van Ray Bradbury en iconische werken uit de kunstgeschiedenis. Op de print lagen ter hoogte van mijn armen twee rijen 'Fahrenheit 451' boeken in diverse talen, met daarbovenop kaarsen. Ik lag in kruishouding op de print met mijn armen onder de kaarsen. Het kaarsvet droop langzaam op mijn armen zodat ik vast kwam te liggen aan de boeken op de print. Het opbranden van de kaarsen duurde anderhalf uur.

In a small room, I laid out a large print featuring alternating covers of various editions of Ray Bradbury’s book *Fahrenheit 451* and iconic works from art history. On the print, at the level of my arms, lay two rows of ‘Fahrenheit 451’ books in various languages, with candles placed on top of them. I lay in a crucifixion position on the print with my arms beneath the candles. The candle wax dripped slowly onto my arms, so that I became stuck to the books and onto the print. It took an hour and a half for the candles to burn down.
